Esque evolved through the collaboration between Justin Parker and Andi Kovel. The duo has worked together for the past 10 years, and together manage every aspect of esque, from design and creation to packing and shipping.Esque’s new studio was built with a conscious.Using cutting-edge technology to reduce waste and gas consumption, we built two electric furnaces that run 3-4 times more efficiently than the traditional gas furnace. These furnaces then run on sustainable wind power.
Each day, approximately 100 pounds of excess glass is recycled into a smaller furnace. This glass waste is then re-used to produce our Eco-line, the Delano-Esque line and a new line of 100% recycled, chemical free products. We also pack our glass with biodegradable peanuts and 50% of materials are re-claimed. The quality of work hasn’t changed but our methods have. |
